Screen first: Right we traced and tested the purple/orange heated screen wire from engine bay fuse box to central fuse box, all perfect. Traced and tested the wires to both sides of the screen, again perfect. Checked and tested both wires from the screen, no problems at all. Next we forced the relay (6 engine fuse box) to switch on.

If battery voltage is low some things wont work, heated screen will not switch on if voltage is not high enough to confirm the alternator is charging.
